Breeding Basset Bleu de Gascogne
What characterizes the Bleu de Gascogne breed?
This French hunting dog breed is known for its stamina, keen sense of smell and friendly nature. It is suitable both as a family dog and for active owners.
How does puppy placement work?
We only give our puppies to responsible owners. Interested parties can contact us in good time to arrange an appointment to get to know us.
What conditions do I have to fulfill to get a puppy?
We check whether the living conditions of the prospective owner are suitable for keeping a Bleu de Gascogne. This includes sufficient space, time for training and a willingness to deal with the needs of the breed.
Are the puppies vaccinated and microchipped?
Yes, our puppies are vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped when they are handed over to their new owners.
Can I get to know the parents?
Naturally! We attach great importance to transparency and enable interested parties to get to know the parent animals in advance.
Dog care
Do you offer daycare?
No day care, as only a limited number of dogs may be admitted (veterinary office requirement).
What situations is dog care intended for?
Dog care during vacation, a hospital stay or rehab as well as for professional reasons.
How does the support work?
Individual care in a family environment. The dogs are housed in the apartment, have free access to the yard and garden and are given regular walks and visits to the outdoor dog run in Borken. No kennels - the dogs should feel at home.
Is there a possibility to get to know the dog care in advance?
A personal information meeting is offered for new customers. This gives them the opportunity to get to know the dog care service and gain their own impression. The dog sitting contract is also handed out during this meeting.
How are dog owners informed about their dog's welfare?
So that dog owners can be sure that their pet is doing well, photos and videos are regularly sent via WhatsApp.
Organizational & other matters
What are the childcare times?
Our regular childcare hours are 24 hours a day. Individual arrangements are of course possible.
What happens in the event of behavioral or health problems?
In the event of anomalies, the owner is consulted immediately in order to find the best possible solution.
Is there a trial period for new dogs in care?
Yes, we recommend an acclimatization period so that your dog can slowly get used to the new environment.
What do I need to bring with me for supervision?
